For 75 years, the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center (MAC Center) has been the heartbeat of Kent State University basketball. The MAC Center opened in 1950 and was renovated in 1992, the MAC Center has evolved with Kent State basketball while preserving the spirit and intensity that made it iconic. Today, Artsman is proud to honor that legacy with the launch of the Kent State University Court Collection. • In 2001-2002, the men’s basketball team made one of the most thrilling tournament runs in school history by reaching the Elite Eight®
